Hi, I’m Phill and I’m a fully qualified Personal Trainer in Cardiff, with over 10 years of experience working in the Fitness industry.

My journey as a Personal Trainer began when I worked as a Fitness instructor in Cardiff. A big part of this job involved running weekly fitness classes and within just a few months I had built up a loyal group of followers who would regularly attend my sessions. After attending a few of my fitness classes, people would often ask me if I offered Personal Training sessions, but I had to turn them away because I wasn’t a qualified Personal Trainer.

Personal Training wasn’t something that I had ever considered, but all this changed when I was approached by a lady called Diane, who regularly attended my Fitness Classes. She said that she had signed up to do the National 3 Peaks Challenge for Charity and she needed me to help her get fit.

Having completed the 3 Peaks Challenge myself, I knew that it would be tough and I really wanted to help her because she was commited to raising money for a good cause.

We started Personal Training sessions straight away and Diane’s fitness levels improved dramatically within a short space of time. I got a real buzz out of seeing her fitness levels improve and I immediately decided to start working towards becoming a qualified Personal Trainer.

I’ve trained hundreds of people since Diane and I still get the same buzz everytime I help someone achieve their goals. I absolutely love my job as a Personal Trainer, there’s nothing else that I would rather do.

Everyday I help people to improve their health, fitness and quality of life and that makes being a Personal Trainer the best job in the world!

Aside from Personal Training I enjoy taking my two Labradors for long walks and I love spending time with my family. I’m a very active person and I’ve got 3 highly competitive sons who are always dragging me into their next crazy challenge! They certainly do a good job of keeping me busy and in shape!
